Abstract

|
It has long been assumed that lymphocytes are morphologically a non-characteristic cell group, and the function of these cells have not been fully understood.
Recently the study of the lymphocyte becomes greatly brisk since the lymphocyte is known as an important cell on immunologic mechanism. And many interesting studies on the life span, origin, cytochemistry and function of the lymphocyte have been reported.
In this report, the author described the recent knowledge on the heterogeneity of the lymphocytes group and emphasized on the renewal of understanding of lymphocytes.
